Swansea University Physics Society
Welcome to the Swansea University Physics Society or as we like to call it PHYSOC!!
Whilst the majority of our events are Physics based such as our CERN trip, we also hold more social events with food, drinks and games!
As a society we welcome anyone and everyone.
All we ask is a slight interest in physics, you don't even have to be a physics student!
We hold a fantastic (even if we say so ourselves) Physics Formal every year where we invite our members but also our incredible staff for a meal, entertainment and a guest speaker.
New from 2023 is our weekly newsletter and our podcast - Gamma Rays and Graduates.
We were honoured to be awarded the Society of the Year award by Swansea Students Union at the end of academic year 24/25.
This was gracefully awarded to us for our incredible hard work that went into our socials, our CERN trip and our amazing formal.
We are proud of this and we hope that we continue to deserve this award by improving each and every year.
